Breathwork is an active meditation technique based on controlled hyperventilation breathing. For many energy therapies you do not need to be physically present nor on the phone to experience the same level of healing energy as being in-person. It can seem a strange idea that the energies would be equally as strong or powerful if you are not physically present with the practitioner. Many people have felt the same way before they experienced their first "remote" Rising Stars, and they all have had several since, with powerful results every time. The energy present during a remote or distant session is absolutely equal to what happens in the physical - this is because the healing works on all levels and layers of a being. We are used to thinking of our physical bodies as "us" though in actuality we are made up of several "bodies" - our physical body is the densest of these, and the others, being at a higher vibration, are not physically visible to most of us. One of the other bodies is the etheric body - this is the one next to the physical body, and connects us with all of our higher bodies. So if the etheric body is being worked on in a healing session, which is the case during a Rising Star, whether you're physically present with the practitioner or not, then both the physical and all the other "bodies" come along for the ride so to speak.

No. If you are not receiving a Rising Star energy healing in person, Colleen simply asks that you lie still for the duration of the appointment time if possible. You won’t “ruin” it if you forget the scheduled time and it will still be the same effective and powerful healing. Many people enjoy scheduling Rising Star energy healings while they sleep, and most report having terrific sleeps and waking completely refreshed!

No, classes and trainings are done in person by announcement from Colleen’s office in Ridgewood, NJ. As they may also be held in the comfort of your home, Colleen will discuss traveling to you or another date upon request.

Scientists have proven that everything is energy. With humans and animals, energy fields operate inside our bodies (chakra system) and outside our bodies (auric system). When our energetic vibration decreases, dis-ease and imbalance can occur on physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels.
The Rising Star Healing System™ is an extraordinarily powerful system sourced from an ancient Tibetan lineage. It works by directing energy through the client’s chakra system, working on the five elements; fire, water, air, earth and ether, so that your entire being can start to balance and heal. A single treatment starts to raise the vibration of the human energy field, to hold more life force energy, so it can re-balance the body.
The energy work continues after the session to clear the chakra and auric system for 21 days, moving through the 7 energy points (chakras) three times. As such, 3 weeks between sessions is best. For optimal results, three sessions are recommended. Each session promotes deeper relaxation, allowing the mind to let go, so deeper issues can be addressed. Keep in mind, energy healing does NOT replace traditional medical care, and medical professionals should be consulted in all situations.

Vinyasa means, “to move with the breath.” Vinyasa Yoga, also commonly referred to as “Flow” or “Vinyasa Flow” is a style of yoga that links poses or asanas together so that you move from one to another, seamlessly, with the breath in a flowing sequence. This synchronization of breath with a continuous flow of postures helps attain balance in spirit, mind and body.
